Although you may find other macarons with a wide variety of flavors and fillings, we believe in the simplicity of this historic dessert. You won't find fruity pebbles or cotton candy at Le Petit Amour.
Our macarons are delicately flavored and made with 3 simple ingredients: almond flour, sugar, and egg whites. These pillowy desserts are the jewels of all desserts, and a guilt-free pleasure that can be enjoyed on any occasion.

We take pride in being a local business and supporting the community. Our macarons are made in the Triangle – serving Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Many of our flavors are sourced from other local businesses around the area.
We make small batches at a time, so our macarons are always fresh. These macarons are piped and personally filled by hand using only clean and quality ingredients.
You’ll find most macarons to be filled with buttercream, but we prefer to use ganache, a silky mixture of chocolate and cream.
We find ganache to be the perfect filling for those looking to make their macarons even more heavenly. It’s smooth and creamy without being too heavy.
All macarons contain almonds, eggs, milk. May contain soy, wheat, coconut, and other tree nuts. Not baked in an allergen-free kitchen due to shared equipment. Macarons are naturally gluten free, but cross-contact with gluten-containing ingredients can occur.
Meet Nour—your baker and founder of Le Petit Amour.
Growing up, she spent countless hours in the kitchen experimenting with different recipes and ingredients, pursuing her love for baking and sweets. But it wasn’t until 2020 that she decided to take things to the next level by mastering the delicate art of the French macaron.
Determined to create the perfect dessert, she spent months researching and experimenting with different recipes, methods, and techniques. In August 2021, her hard work and dedication paid off when she officially founded Le Petit Amour, meaning “Little Love” in French.
Le Petit Amour is about more than just desserts—it’s about creating a quality experience for our community. Using only the finest and cleanest ingredients, Nour mixes all the batters, hand-pipes and pairs each shell, makes the rich and silky ganache, and finally fills each macaron by hand. If you were to take a step into her bakery, you’d be greeted with a warm and inviting aroma—a common by-product of baking the French macaron!
At Le Petit Amour, each macaron is a little piece of love, but the dedication doesn’t stop there. We believe in supporting our local businesses, and we source most of our flavors from the best local suppliers.
